Apple says that OS X El Capitan focuses on speeding up performance and offering a richer user experience with some handy new features.
El Capitan introduces a more powerful Spotlight search feature, with a focus on making search more knowledgeable on Mac. For example, you’ll be able to type in “Documents I worked on in June,” and Spotlight will be able to surface the relevant documents.The new Mac software also improves Mission Control, which is a quick way to see which apps and programs are open. You can now open Mission Control by simply swiping on your Mac trackpad with three fingers, which will allow you to easily organize windows.
